Artist Statement
I’m an artist – but not a rebel.
I love structure, clean lines, correct perspective. To me, technique is a language I’ve chosen to master – perhaps because I started painting as an adult.
I paint for myself, not for trends or approval.
In painting, I find freedom, rhythm, and a quiet joy that lets me breathe.
Sometimes, a small rebellion sneaks in – like painting a rainbow-colored wolf when I was explicitly told not to use rainbow colors. I didn’t mean to rebel – it just felt right.
I have spent much of my life doing what was expected.
Painting gave me a space with no demands – a place where I could be imperfect and curious.
Now, with every brushstroke, I paint myself home – back to who I am.
